About
Your Visit
New patients are encouraged to submit their pathology
slides and all radiology studies ahead of time so that
a comprehensive treatment plan can be developed during
the initial visit. Our certified nurse coordinator,
in conjunction with the physicians, reviews all patient
records prior to the visit, creating an individualized
clinical assessment. Treatment plans and options will
be formulated by the team and presented to the patient
and their families during the same visit.
These individualized plans can include:
-
Laparoscopy,
commonly employed for staging and diagnosis of malignancy
-
PET
scanning for staging and developing therapeutic
strategies
-
Radiofrequency
ablation and hepatic artery pump therapy for liver
tumors
-
Genetic
testing
