Oral and maxillofacial surgeons provide consultation for and treatment of oral, facial and upper jaw trauma, diseases or abnormalities of growth and development, malocclusion, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and facial pain. Treatments include:

This clinic specializes in the surgical treatment of facial deformities present at birth or resulting from disease or injury.
Implants
Dental
and facial implants are available for individuals who
have lost teeth. For your convenience, our oral and
maxillofacial surgeons can coordinate with a general
dentist at the Oral Health Center for the implant tooth
replacement.
Oral
& Maxillofacial Reconstruction Clinic
Experts in oral and maxillofacial reconstruction treat patients after trauma or tumor removal.
Oral Pathology, Oral Cancer
The specialists at the Loyola Oral Health Center include
oral pathologists and oral medicine specialists who
diagnose and treat diseases of the oral cavity, including
oral cancer.
Research
Ongoing studies include oral and maxillofacial reconstruction after ablative cancer surgery, TMJ reconstruction with custom prostheses and oral implants.
Temporomandibular Joint and Facial Pain Clinic
Treatments include TMJ reconstruction.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth are known for the dental problems they can cause, and removing them can be an important part of oral health.
