| Loyola University Health System has announced the opening of a new neurology clinic in suburban Niles.The Loyola Center for Health at Niles "will bring world class neurology subspecialty services to Chicago and the north and northwest suburbs," said Dr. Jose Biller, chairman of the Department of Neurology, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.The clinic is located at 8780 W. Golf Road, Suite 302.Biller and Dr. Eugene Schnitzler initially will hold Saturday office hours at the clinic.Schnitzler is medical director, Pediatric Neurology. His special interests include pediatric epilepsy, pediatric headache, autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Biller's special interests include stroke, TIAs, carotid artery stenosis, cerebral aneurysms, brain hemorrhages, strokes in children and young adults, neurologic complications of pregnancy, acute neurology, neurology of systemic diseases and general neurology. The center's hours will later expand to Wednesday mornings, afternoons and evenings and include clinics by three other neurologists, Dr. Hrayr Attarian, (sleep medicine), Dr. Ninith Kartha, (movement disorders) and Dr. Jorge Asconape, (epilepsy).For more information, visit www.LoyolaMedicine.org.
